The Parsnips quilt top is finally finished. It took longer than it should have because, as usual, I got distracted and decided to make a sample of an idea to submit for magazine publication. I won’t show a pic of my design but here’s a not terribly revealing sneak peek.

I have plenty of red for this project but so much less than I thought. Something to work on at the next quilt show marketplace….
Those cheeky little frogs keep popping up. You can see a couple of them in the Parsnips shot at the top of this post. I like this happy little guy wearing a flower in the seam allowance.

I was supposed to leave for the beach today, but my ride fell through due to a sudden family illness (fingers crossed for a full and speedy recovery). So I was able to finish up my sample and magazine submission at a leisurely pace. Now, instead of whatever it is that I ‘should’ be doing, I’m going to go play with some baggies of bonus half square triangles until it’s time for the Phillies game.
